Indian Army helipad lighting
Indian Air Force is unit focused on air transportation, terrain recognition and medical evacuation. It consists of around 150 helicopters that have to be available 24/7. Night operations often take place in remote and hard-to-reach places where there is usually no electric power access or it is limited. Therefore, the best solution to illuminate a helipad is a mobile solar lighting.
Why?
First and foremost, it enables using sunlight to charge the lamps. However, if it fails, the lamps can also be charged with a battery. If this option fails as well, there is a third option: using an electric power grid. That’s why such lighting is called a hybrid one. Additionally, the installation is so simple and quick that it doesn’t require any special skills. Possible malfunctions can impact single units only, and the control is managed wirelessly.
